Railway technician is the initial past or starting post of Group C employee in Indian railways. The eligibility is Matric with IIT. A technician comes in Indian railways through. RRB notifications through direct requirement.

Selection Process

There are a total four stages in the selection process for the post of technician in Indian Railways which are as follows:

  1. CBT-1
  2. CBT-2
  3. Documentation
  4. Medical Examination

The exam will be held in online mode through computer based test (CBT) at various examination centres across the country with duration of 1 hour

Application Fee

For SC, ST, Ex-Serviceman, PWDs, Females, Transgender, Minorities and Economically Backward class- Rs 250. For all other categories candidates- Rs 500.
